To provide our children and young people with the best Christmas we would prefer that only toys that are ‘Like New’ or in excellent condition are donated. We also welcome ‘New’ Toys. If a toy needs batteries, please consider donating the appropriate battery to accompany the toy.
Pre-loved toys accepted at each of the Household Recycling Centres include:
- Bikes, Trikes and Scooters
- Ride on Toys and Go Karts
- Toy kitchens and work benches
- Dolls House, Dolls and Prams
- Jigsaws, puzzles and board games (Must be complete)
- Figures and figurines
- Clean undamaged soft toys
We cannet accept:
- Jigsaws, puzzles and board games (parts often missing)
- Books
- DVDs
- Dressing-up costumes
- Broken or incomplete.
The toys can be placed directly into containers marked with Christmas Toy Collection at the Household Recycling Centre. They will be cared for by Habitat for Humanity (NI) and will be available in their shops for another family to purchase (at a small charge) and love. The monies raised from sale of toys will be donated back into the charity.
Toys donated should be in full working order with no obvious flaws.
