The Council recognises the challenges facing local bars, restaurants and cafes during this emergency period and can advise that no planning enforcement action will be taken against public houses, restaurants or cafes that wish to provide a takeaway service.
This relaxation of enforcement action will be kept under review over the coming months and it is intended to withdraw the measure once the immediate urgency from COVID-19 (coronavirus ) has subsided.
Please note that all other regulatory requirements must continue to be adhered to.

We would like to make businesses aware that the Council will not be enforcing restrictions regarding delivery times over this emergency period as we appreciate that relevant business outlets may need to receive goods outside normal working hours and on a more frequent basis.
