Councillor Julie Gilmour is the Deputy Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey for 2025-2026.
Councillor Gilmour is originally from Enniskillen, but has lived in the borough for more than 25 years. She was first elected in 2019 and serves the Threemilewater DEA where she lives with her husband Garth and two sons Jack and Aidan.
She is on the Board of Governors of Whitehouse Primary School and Nursery Unit and is also a Board member of Thrive Newtownabbey and Libraries NI.
She is passionate about inclusive opportunities for young people, and looks forward to working for all the people of the Borough for the year ahead.
