Set in 1914 - 1921 at the stately home of Lord and Lady Masserene at Antrim Gardens, Carson and The Lady was commissioned by Theatre at The Mill and Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council to commemorate the centenary of the foundation of Northern Ireland.

Written by Michael Cameron and directed by Colm G Doran - the creative team behind the critically acclaimed play ‘Ruby’.  The play draws upon the work of best-selling historical biographer Lyndsay Spence.

Audiences will be treated to an intriguing, funny and poignant trip back in time in the company of Lady Jean Masserene, Sir Edward Carson, the mystical Evan Morgan and the household servants Ethel and Thomas.

The play follows the story of these historical characters, their lives and fortunes intertwine against the backdrop of the most remarkable political development in the most turbulent period of Irish History.
