View the vibrant and inspirational artwork from artist Razieh in Antrim Library. Afghan artist Razieh settled in Antrim Town and has become an active member in the Antrim community.
The regime in Afghanistan recently announced greater restrictions on women's freedoms, and a ban of Music and Art remains. Razieh also spent childhood in Iran under another oppressive regime.
Razieh's exhibition shows her incredible skills as an artist and is a significant solidarity victory for all women under oppression.
Razieh's work will be on display in Antrim Library from Monday 2 September to Monday 30 September 2024.
