Belinda Larmour is an award-winning artist and member of the Ulster Watercolour Society who lives in the Antrim and Newtownabbey area.  For many years the focus of her work was on portraits, but recently she has enjoyed sketching outdoors and then experimenting with paint in the studio. The paintings balance the desire for clear structure with the delight of allowing paint to flow freely.  Some of the subjects can be easily recognised, some are semi-abstract landscapes, while others have a fluid underwater feel or are totally from the imagination.  All the paintings are made with water-based media - either pure watercolour on paper, watercolour and ink on Yupo (a synthetic surface), or acrylic on canvas.
