Kickstart Your Career in Security

The LMP is offering a one-week SIA Employment Academy for residents of Antrim and Newtownabbey to give participants the skills, training, and accreditations required to start a career in the security sector.

Date: Monday 26 January 2026 – Tuesday 3 January 2026
Training will take place at Workforce Training Services, 465 Antrim Road, BT15 3BP.

What’s included?
- Security and Health & Safety Training: Emergency First Aid, ACT (Counter Terrorism), Manned Guarding, Key Holding.
- Industry Accreditations: Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence
- Employability Support: CV writing, interview skills, confidence building, and live employer interviews.
- Barrier Removal: Assistance with childcare, transport, and other obstacles.
- Guaranteed Employer Interview: Interview with local security and events companies.
