Steady and Strong Beginner Course

Steady and Strong Beginner Course
 

Our Steady and Strong classes focus on improving strength and balance over a ten week programme. Participants must undergo an assessment on their first day. If you're unable to start on the specified date, you  can speak to the instructor for possible alternative options or be placed on a waiting list if classes are full.

Steady and Strong Maintenance Course

Following the beginner course, you will then move onto the maintenance course to maintain and further improve your strength and balance .

Live Long Programme

The Live Long programme aims to provide a range of social and physical activities for participants in order to improve both mental and social fitness, as well as physical.

The programme is delivered in partnership with the Sport Changes Life Foundation who say "Sport can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their ability and age should not be a restriction or barrier to participation.  Here at Sport Changes Life we strive to improve peoples day to day lifestyles by using sport as a tool for engagement".

The programme offers sports such as badminton, pickleball, indoor bowls, boccia and table tennis and is aimed at people who are mobile and still enjoy being active. 

There is always time for refreshments and spare time to meet other people living similar lives and allow sport to be the reason that bring us all together. This is wonderful for the body and mind.
