Quiet Hour

One-hour quiet sessions are available at three of our leisure centres, offering a calmer environment for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory needs and anyone who prefers to visit during a quieter time of day.

 

 


Quiet Hour

Quiet Hour sessions are available for people with autism and sensory needs, as well as for anyone who prefers a calmer and quieter environment when visiting our leisure centres. These sessions offer the opportunity to enjoy swimming and soft play in a relaxed setting, with reduced noise and distractions, helping everyone feel comfortable and at ease.

One-hour swimming slots will take place weekly:

‘Quiet hour’ sessions are scheduled at times when there is less footfall and less noise in the leisure centres. There will be no music playing, or operational PA announcements to maintain a quiet space. Sensory-friendly toys will be available.

There is no advanced booking required for 'quiet hour' sessions. 

Sensory Rooms are also available at the Antrim Forum, Crumlin Leisure Centre and the Valley Leisure Centre.
