Antrim Live is a Roaring Success!

Now in its third year this cultural extravaganza had something to offer the whole family. Kicking off the event was Nuala McKeevers’s sell-out show Letting Go or Losing It! at the Old Courthouse and a special quiet session at the funfair for children and adults with specific needs.

Antrim Castle Gardens was stomping as the sold out Jurassic Loc Down and Fossil Hunt took place, this interactive show featuring a 14ft T-Rex was a roaring success. Also at Antrim Castle Gardens an array of quirky characters were on hand to meet and greet you and take you on a journey through the Wonderland Wood Treasure Trail.

The Bop Bop Baby Disco, Storytelling with Mr Hullabaloo and Street Performers including action heroes Spiderman and Batman offered hours of endless fun for the children. The Artisan Market was a big hit along with the fabulous weather allowing the crowds to bask in the sunshine and listen to the live entertainment.

Living History Tours at Pogues entry and The Long Now by local Poet Sam Burnside were also a great addition to this Family Festival of Fun.
