Antrim Castle Gardens Award Winner at Northern Ireland Tourism Awards 2019

The stunning Antrim Castle Gardens won Authentic Northern Ireland Experience of the Year (Site Based) at the recent Northern Ireland Tourism Awards.

This prestigious event was held at the Armagh Palace Demesne last week and after beating off tough competition from the Armagh Georgian Festival and RSPB Rathlin West Light Seabird Centre, Antrim Castle Gardens were crowned winners.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman John Smyth who attended the awards commented “It gives me no greater pleasure to be here this evening and receive this award. Antrim Castle Gardens is a hidden gem, waiting to be explored. This stunning setting hosts events all year round and is the perfect venue for a great day out”.

The Award-winning gardens have just launched their latest attraction ‘The Wonderland Wood Trail”. This interactive fairy trail operates each day from 10am – 4pm, another great addition to this majestic site.
