Muckamore playgroup celebrates 40 years

The pre-school group is one of the many clubs, organisations, families and individuals that avail of the Council’s numerous Community Centres across the Borough.

Over the last four decades, Muckamore Community Centre has welcome over 2,000 children to the pre-school from the surrounding areas of Muckamore, Ballycraigy and Newpark and helped them create many happy memories and friendships for life.

Playgroup staff play key roles in cementing strong relationships between the Council and the local community with some working at the centre for more than 24 years. The playgroup also has strong links with the community built up over the years and connects with local businesses and organisations where possible.
