Election Results end of Day 1

First day of counting concluded today with candidates confirmed for 25 out of the 40 seats in Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council

The first day of the Count for the local Council Elections took place in the Valley Leisure Centre today.

The following candidates were deemed elected:

Antrim DEA – 6 Seats

Mark Cosgrove	UUP
Alison Bennington	DUP
Michael Goodman	Sinn Féin
Rosie Kinnear	Sinn Féin

Macedon DEA -6 Seats
Eligible electorate Turnout Quota	13,593 46.58% 895

Threemilewater DEA – 6 Seats
