Antrim’s Market in the Square

On Saturday 28 September, Market Square in Antrim will come to life with an artisan food and craft market organised by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.

On Saturday 28 September, Market Square in Antrim will come to life with an artisan food and craft market organised by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.

Come along from 11am until 4pm for free family entertainment including mobile farm, kiddies disco, magic show, face painting, balloon modelling, walkabout characters and arts and crafts. The Soda Popz will be singing some of the best hits from the 1950s/60s. This delightful duo will take you on a nostalgic trip back to the dance hall days, with some of the best-loved hits from that fabulous era! Featuring the songs of Johnny Cash, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Connie Francis and many more. So fellas, slick back your hair, ladies, put on your best red lippy and get ready to rock around the square with The Soda Popz and Ballroom Blitz Formation Dance Team!

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman John Smyth commented,

“I am delighted Council is bringing the Market back to the Square for another year. Make sure you mark the date in your diaries and bring your family along for what is sure to be a great day out.”
