Does your business struggle to win contracts? Then look no further - Bid 2 Win can help! This programme will help you learn how to win more business through specialist procurement advice provided by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council with funding support from Invest NI and the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth and Jobs (Northern Ireland 2014-2020) Programme (EUIGJ) Local Economic Development Measure.

‘Bid 2 Win’ is open to small or medium-sized businesses registered in any of the three participating Council areas (including social enterprises) with less than 50 employees who have been trading for at least 12 months. The initiative is a great opportunity for local businesses to improve their contract opportunities within the public sector and with larger private sector organisations.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman John Smyth recommended the three year support programme, “In such uncertain times for local businesses, it is important to maintain an edge when it comes to winning contracts and jobs, creating sustainability and improving competitiveness. This programme, delivered by an award-winning team, offers local businesses a fantastic opportunity to develop and maintain that advantage”.

Businesses can register to join the programme where they will receive expert mentoring support, develop collaboration opportunities and gain access to local ‘Meet the Buyer’ events. Up to 180 businesses can access the support available through the programme (up to December 2022), but with demand already high, businesses are encouraged to register soon.

If you would like to learn more about this free programme, introductory workshops are available where you can hear expert advice and simple steps that will immediately boost your chances of winning more business.
