August Bank Holiday Closures
On Bank Holiday Monday 31 August, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council services will be affected as follows: Cemeteries The cemeteries offices will be closed on Mon 31st Aug 2020. The latest burial time on Monday 31st Aug 2020 is 11am. You can book a burial by telephone at Mossley Mill on Saturday 29th Aug 2020 – 8.30am to 10am via 028 90 340080 / cemeteries@antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk. Registration Office The registration offices will be closed on Mon 31st Aug 2020. Contact via registrar@antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk Birth Registrations There will be no birth registration appointments on Monday 31st Aug 2020 Please E. registrar@antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk for an appointment. Bin Collections All bin collections are as normal. All bin collection dates for Black, Brown and Blue bins are available on Council’s Website at www.antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk/residents/bins-recycling/bins-schedule Kerbside collections provided by Bryson Recycling are available on their website at www.brysonrecycling.org/households/kerbside-collections/ To report a missed bin collection E. waste@antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk Recycling Centres All Recycling Centres will be open as normal on Monday 31 August. Proof of residence in the Borough must be shown by all visitors before access to the sites is permitted. Anyone wishing to use O’Neill Road or Crumlin Household Recycling Centres will require appointments to be made in advance. Residents can now make an appointment online at www.antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk/recyclingcentres Fly-tipping Reports Any reports of fly-tipping should be reported through waste@antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk. Leisure Centres Fitness suites, classes and swimming pools will all be open on Monday 31 August at Antrim Forum, Valley, Sixmile and Crumlin Leisure Centres. Access is by bookable session only.
