Scott soars to Great Heights with his first Exhibition

Schoolboy Scott Ferguson, will host his first exhibition at Clotworthy House from Friday 11 December until Friday 15 January 2021. 

Schoolboy Scott Ferguson, will host his first exhibition at Clotworthy House from Friday 11 December until Friday 15 January 2021. This talented young artist from Ballyclare currently studies art at Ballyclare Secondary School.

Scott has enjoyed art from a very young age and hopes to go to University to continue his studies in this field and pursue a career in the animation industry.

His exhibition is an exploration of local features and landmarks which he hopes will appeal to visitors.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Jim Montgomery said “I am delighted that the Council afforded Scott the opportunity to showcase his work. It is clear from Scott’s display that he is very talented and I hope locals will support him on his first exhibition”.

Scott added “I am so excited to have my artwork on display, Clotworthy House is a stunning setting with amazing galleries and it is a great honour for me to be given this opportunity to exhibit my work here”.


Arranging the exhibition will also benefit others, as Scott has generously donated a framed print to be raffled for the Mayors Charities, Guide Dogs Northern Ireland and Air Ambulance. Details for this raffle will be advertised on the Council website and social media pages in the New Year.
