Located within the Northern Ireland Tourism Village area, staff welcomed over 1,000 visitors who were to find out more about the array of historical attractions, activities, trails and leisure facilities the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough has to offer.
Attendees also heard more about the beautiful gardens, castles and parks located in the Borough and the packed programme of events for the year ahead including the forthcoming Allianz Garden Show Ireland event ‘A Fabulous Festival of Flowers, Food and Fun.’
In addition to Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, the area was well represented with a number of local trade partners also at the show including The Maldron Hotel at Belfast International Airport; Hilton Belfast Templepatrick Golf & Country Club; The McKeever Hotel Group and the Holiday Inn Express Antrim.
Speaking about the event, Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman John Smyth said:
“Antrim and Newtownabbey is bursting with fantastic things to see and do and the Holiday World Show was a wonderful opportunity to show this off to intrepid travellers from around the globe."
