The competition to find Antrim and Newtownabbey’s best kept garden is open!

The competition to find Antrim and Newtownabbey’s best kept garden is open!

If your garden is in tip top shape, why not reward yourself by entering our Best Kept Garden competition?

Whether your garden is big or small, the competition is open to all residents within the Borough and is designed to encourage everyone to take pride in their garden.

This year’s categories include Best Kept Garden, Best Kept Front/Container Garden, Best Kept Commercial Premises, Best Kept Community Planting and Best Kept School Grounds.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman John Smyth is encouraging everyone to get involved;

“This is a great way to enjoy some friendly competition with your neighbours. If you don’t have a garden you can still use window boxes, plant pots, containers or hanging baskets to enter the competition.”

The closing date for entries is 14 August 2020 and winners will be announced in September.
