Following the latest announcement from the NI Executive, businesses within the hospitality sector can now reopen. To help support these businesses who have faced an unprecedented year, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has waived more than £20k in annual fees for Entertainment Licences.

During a visit to Sportsmans Inn, Ballyclare, Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Jim Montgomery commented,

“It has been a long time coming for the hospitality businesses in our Borough and I am delighted that they can now reopen. I am pleased the Council has waived the Entertainment Licence Fees as this will help reduce their outgoings. Our Borough has a vast array of bars, restaurants and cafes for everyone to enjoy and now they are open I would encourage everyone to come and show their support.”
