Officers from Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council will be attending the Holiday World Show in Dublin and Belfast, in January 2022, to promote the Borough’s beautiful landscapes, charming towns, numerous attractions and activities to a global audience.

The Holiday World Show attracts thousands of visitors each year and this year promises to be the biggest yet as the Council will be situated in the newly extended Tourism Northern Ireland Village.  With staycations continuing to be a popular holiday choice for many, the show will provide a wonderful opportunity to showcase everything wonderful in the Borough including the award winning Antrim Castle Gardens, historical sites, events and festivals, and an array of luxury accommodation.

The show will be held in the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast from 21-23 January 2022 and in the RDS in Dublin from 28-30 January 2022.

The Council is also sponsoring the Hospitality Exchange being delivered by Northern Ireland’s Hotel Federation in The Crown Plaza, Shaws Bridge, Belfast on 12 and 13 October.

This event, now in its 22nd year, will provide the opportunity for business leaders and government agencies to take part in workshops and seminars discussing the latest key topics, issues and challenges.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Billy Webb commented

“I am delighted that we are participating in the Holiday World Show again in 2022.  I am very proud of all the wonderful attractions, businesses and people in our Borough and pleased that we have the opportunity to share all that we have to offer with such a large audience”.

“I am also pleased that we are sponsoring the Hospitality Exchange in October.  This industry has faced many challenges during the pandemic and it is still going through a period of uncertainty.  I am sure that bringing business leaders together with Government agencies to discuss current challenges can only be positive in finding a successful and meaningful way forward”.
