The Council has pledged to identify any immediate assistance it can provide.
With Chambers of Commerce and similar business structures across the Borough struggling to deliver activities in the wake of Covid-19 due to a lack of resources, the Council has pledged to identify any immediate assistance it can provide.
The Council will engage directly with businesses in our town centres and villages to determine their needs and expectations, and will also provide interim support to existing chambers of commerce or similar models to help reinvigorate their activities post-pandemic.
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman Stephen Ross said:
“It is vital that the Council does all within its power to support businesses in the aftermath of the disruption brought about by Covid-19.
“The Council is committed to working closely with businesses in our towns and villages to establish better working relationships with the Council moving forward.”
