Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Alderman Stephen Ross said; “I am delighted that the Council has been shortlisted as finalists at these prestigious awards. Our Council is forward thinking with great Civic Leadership. The joint service between planning and economic development has seen the Council recognised as the top performing Council in Northern Ireland for planning applications and attracting investment, which has been instrumental to our successful business portfolio and securing major global investments to our Borough. “I am very proud of the work we do as a Council and I would like to wish the teams the very best of luck for the finals.”
