Balmoral Show - Calling Local Food or Drink Producers

Small and micro-sized local food and drink producers based in the Borough are being alerted to an opportunity to showcase their produce on the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council stand at this year’s Balmoral Show.

To be in with a chance for a place on the stand for two days between 10 and 13 May 2023, food and drinks producers from across Antrim and Newtownabbey must satisfy a number of conditions and complete an expression of interest form.

Last year’s event attracted over 120,000 people, cementing the Balmoral Show as one of the biggest events in the agricultural calendar. To have a chance to be there, or to find out more visit antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk/balmoralshow2023.

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman Stephen Ross is keen to see the Borough put its best foot forward at this year’s event, and would encourage local food and drinks producers to seize the opportunity to improve brand awareness and promote the Borough at the same time.  The Mayor added; “Council is delighted to support this worthwhile initiative, providing cost effective means for small and micro-sized businesses to showcase their local produce at an important local and regional event. I encourage eligible businesses to complete the expression of interest form to be in with a chance of promoting themselves and our Borough.”

All Expression of Interest forms should be submitted by 12 noon on Friday 3 March 2023.
