The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Alderman Stephen Ross recently visited Graham Steelworks & Engineering (GSE) in Mallusk to hear about the company’s exciting growth plans for the future.
Established in 2018, the advanced manufacturing firm continue to grow from strength to strength expanding into markets across Great Britain and Ireland as well as increasing their domestic work in Northern Ireland.
Specialising in steelwork and engineering for water treatment - both clean and foul, their expertise in this sector has seen them secure contracts with NI Water and a number of water treatment companies across the UK and Ireland.
Working in partnership with the Economic Development and Planning Teams within the Council, GSE, are now considering options for expansion in the Borough which will enable them to ramp up their production and storage capacity to meet with the ever increasing demand for their specialist services.
Speaking following the visit the Mayor said;
“It was a great opportunity for me to visit the team at GSE and hear first-hand about the highly skilled work they do. I am delighted that their services are in such high demand that they are now considering expanding their business to meet these needs.
"The Council offers a great support package for all businesses in the Borough and I know the Council will do everything they can to help them grow their business.”
