Fitness Suite Fun for Junior Members

If you are aged between 12-15 years old and would like to train in the gym, then we have new Junior Fitness sessions just for you!

The new junior sessions will provide you with access to the gym on your own, where previously juniors had to be accompanied by an adult. You will also receive a free 1-2-1 induction and programme, access to MyWellness App and supervised sessions to help get the best out of your training.

Junior Fitness sessions are free for More Members and £2 per session for non-members and you should book an induction with a fitness instructor prior to taking part in the programme.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Mark Cooper commented; “These new Junior Sessions for 12-15 year olds are a great way to get young people active. Exercise is not only good for the body but also the mind and can help our young people to feel better about themselves, while participating in exercise at your own pace.”

Junior Fitness Session are available at all five of the Council’s Leisure Centres; Antrim Forum, Ballyearl Arts and Fitness, Crumlin, Sixmille and Valley Leisure Centres. Session times will run from 3.30pm - 5.30pm (Mon – Fri) and 2pm – 3.45pm (Sat & Sun). For more information contact the MORE Team on T. 0300 123 1580 or MORE@antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk
