Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Alderman Stephen Ross has paid a visit to SlumberJack Coffee in Antrim to explore how the Council can help them with their exciting growth plans.
This family-run business which specialise in roasting the finest premium coffee beans to achieve the ultimate cup of coffee, describe themselves as enthusiasts, devotees, fanatics and adorers of fine coffee.
Such passion has seen a remarkable growth in sales and demand for their product in recent years. As a result of their success they have been able to employ an additional 5 members of staff and were crowned Gold Winners at the Irish Food Awards 2021.
SlumberJack Coffee is fully committed to responsible trade and sustainable work practices, trading directly with family run farmers in Brazil and Kenya transporting the produce straight from the farm to their warehouse. This company also provide a bespoke packaging service using recycled materials and have installed an energy efficient roasting process.
