Over 400 students from 13 primary and seven post primary schools attended our first ever Transport and Logistics Event hosted by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and Antrim and Newtownabbey Labour Market Partnership together with Young Enterprise.

Through several fun and interactive activities, students were introduced to one of the largest local industries, the Transport and Logistics sector, and the wide variety of careers, opportunities and routes into employment in the sector.
Council and the Labour Market Partnership were delighted that the following businesses sponsored the event and provided vehicles, staff and speakers to enable us to provide a realistic and enjoyable overview of the sector:
