Funding Information and Networking Event for Local Community Organisations

If you are part of a local constituted community or voluntary group, why not join us at the Funding Information and Networking Event on Wednesday 22 March from 7-9pm in Museum at The Mill, Newtownabbey.

If you are part of a local constituted community or voluntary group, why not join us at the Funding Information and Networking Event on Wednesday 22 March from 7-9pm in Museum at The Mill, Newtownabbey.

The purpose of the event is to inform local groups of funding opportunities that may be available to them in addition to Council funding. Representatives from three regional funders who are keen to receive applications from local community/voluntary groups will attend the event - The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland, The Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland and The National Lottery Community Fund Northern Ireland.

Following short presentations from the funders there will be an opportunity to discuss project ideas on a one-to-one basis. Those attending will have the chance to network with other groups in the Borough who might be delivering similar projects and newer groups can chat to others to find out what they are doing or if they could work in partnership.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, Alderman Stephen Ross commented, “This is a fantastic opportunity for our local community/voluntary groups to come along and find out what other funding might be available to them to help develop projects that will help improve the lives of those living in our local communities”.

You must register for this event, E. cpbs@antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk
