Mayor Congratulates Award Winning Business on their Continued Success in the Borough and Beyond

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Mark Cooper has visited local business Ke Nako Biltong to see first-hand the amazing success they have had since they founded in 2012.  Ke Nako makes a range of products including award-winning Biltong (strips of tender beef preserved with a special blend of spices), from sustainable, ethically and locally sourced organic cull cows in Ballylagan.

Help Spread Warmth and Kindness with the Council’s Winter Woollies Campaign

Following the success of the Winter Woollies campaign last year which received over 500 handmade donations, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council is delighted to relaunch this initiative for a second consecutive year. As the temperature drops and the cost of heating rising this scheme calls on crafters to knit or crochet items to provide warmth and comfort to our residents during the chilly winter months.
