Service Disruption to Council Facilities

Updated: 27/9/23 at 17.30pm

Due to the yellow weather warnings for wind and rain brought by Storm Agnes, the following outdoor facilities are closed. We apologise for this disruption:

  • Antrim Castle Grounds
  • Crumlin Glen
  • Golf Course at Ballyearl Arts and Leisure Centre
  • Golf Course at Allen Park
  • Pedestrian Pathway from Mossley Train Station  through to Corrs Corner/Global Point

Other locations will continue to be monitored this afternoon (Wednesday 27 September 2023).

In addition, the current weather conditions have produced numerous branches and debris in the Mossley Area.

The pedestrian pathway from Mossley Train Station through to Corrs Corner/Global Point will be closed tonight whilst these are cleared and re-assessed in the morning for any further branches.

Please Note

  • Bin collections are scheduled to take place as normal. To avoid litter and potential damage, where possible, we request that residents please:
    • Do not leave your bin or wheelie box out overnight, instead set your bin or wheelie box out by 7am on your collection day.
    • Bring in your bin or wheelie box as soon as you can, once it has been emptied.
