Whiteabbey Village Fair Returns, Promising a Great Day out for all the Family

Mark your calendars for Saturday 24 August, when Whiteabbey Village Fair returns for a day of fun and entertainment for all to enjoy. From 12pm until 8pm, the Village will be filled with hustle and bustle as the Street Craft Fair offers visitors a range of artisan crafts, foods, tasty treats and much more!

Taking to the stage and promising to dazzle all, the fabulous Dolly Parton Tribute will put on a show stopping performance with other acts including Kyle McDowell, Donna Burnett, Mary Kemp, Maggie Toal and Lisa Trainor. Performances by Chinese Dragon Dancers, Bollywood Dancers, Jordan School of Irish Dancers, Polish Dance Troop and the Carrickfergus Brass band will also entertain the crowds throughout the day. There are lots of kids activities planned also, including walkabouts, inflatables, Bubble Bike and Sensory Kids.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Neil Kelly commented,

“The Whiteabbey Village Fair proves popular every year with local residents and visitors. This is a great day out for all the family to enjoy and a perfect way to celebrate the Bank Holiday weekend. The Village also has lots of fantastic businesses and eateries to offer, so make sure you make a day of it.”
