The Council invited nominations across several categories to highlight acts of kindness, creativity, and community spirit during this special time of year. With over 80 entries showcasing incredible efforts, we are delighted to announce this year’s winners:

Traditional Christmas Award - Recognising acts of goodwill during the festive period

Awarded to Kathy Wolff: Kathy, affectionately known as “Mrs Claus,” was honoured for her exceptional work within the community. Awarded to First Antrim Presbyterian Church: This church’s Christmas Tree Festival, held over four days, showcased over 30 beautifully decorated trees by local schools, businesses, and organisations. Their event also supported two local charities, Lough Neagh Rescue and Friends of the Cancer Centre, delivering the true meaning of Christmas.
