Families enjoyed a special night, with gentle lighting, reduced noise, quieter queues and a relaxed atmosphere that allowed everyone to soak up the Christmas spirit at their own pace.
A second inclusive evening will be held on Wednesday 10 December and will once again feature a wide range of adaptations designed to ensure enjoyment for all:
- Reduced capacity for a calmer environment
- Static lighting with no strobe or strong effects
- Lower sound and music levels
- Sensory and Quiet Rooms available throughout the evening
- Slower operating speeds on attractions and rides
- Mobility assistance (wheelchairs and mobility scooters available by appointment)
- Santa accompanied by a BSL interpreter
- Changing Places Facility onsite, plus a mobile Changing Places unit (AccessoLoo)
On remaining dates, visitors can continue to enjoy the Enchanted Winter Garden's full offering, including twinkling lights, festive rides, and star attractions, right up until the closing date on Tuesday 30 December.
