John Street Play Park

In relation to the current closure of John Street Play Park, the Council can confirm that recent ecological surveys of the neighbouring building have established that no additional works are required.

Following these findings, scaffolding was installed and roof-repair works commenced on Monday 3 August. The works are expected to take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete.

The Council will provide further updates over the coming weeks as the work progresses.

While the repairs are underway, the play park will also be cleaned and all equipment serviced, ensuring that the site is fully operational when it reopens.
