Overview of PEACE IV Programme
The Antrim and Newtownabbey draft Local Community Action Plan has been submitted to the funder, SEUPB where it is currently going through an assessing process. Council are expected to be in receipt of a Letter of Offer from SEUPB in the Autumn of 2024.

Programme Outputs
- 72 Resource Allocation Projects delivered directly in local communities
- 27 Programmes delivered through the Antrim and Newtownabbey Peace IV Programme
- 1283 Children and Yound People engaged through the development programmes
The programmes and projects resulted in the roll out of:
- A leadership and life skills programme for young people;
- The establishment of the Newtownabbey Baby Bank;
- Capacity building projects for communities and individuals;
- Arts, sports and recreation projects;
- Work with the Key Institutions
- Cross Border programme collaborating with Cavan County Council
