Food Caddy Liners Service Update

More and more residents are recycling their food and garden waste in their brown bin, reducing the amount of waste going to landfill and minimising their impact on the environment.

  • Important Notice
  • Never put batteries, gas canisters or vapes in your bins or wheelie boxes. Please return these items to your retailer or dispose of them safely at a Household Recycling Centre.

Helping Us Reduce Waste and Support Sustainability

To encourage the efficient use of food caddy liners and ensure value for money, the Council is introducing changes to how free caddy liners are provided to households.

By promoting responsible use and reducing unnecessary consumption, this approach will help minimise waste, maintain availability of liners and support the long-term effectiveness of the food waste collection service.
