Community Singing Group

A brand-new singing group especially for older people and people living with dementia

The Forget-Me-Notes is a brand new singing group who first met on 23 March 2023 and will continue to meet every Friday from 10.30am – 12pm at The Courtyard Theatre Ballyearl. This community singing group is an enjoyable, welcoming and supportive group for those who enjoy singing and meeting new people. The group focuses on fun, and no previous singing experience is necessary.

Organised by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council in partnership with Live Music Now, the Forget-Me-Notes is led by renowned local singer-songwriter Amanda St John, who guides the group through popular and familiar songs that are easy to sing. Each session finishes with tea, coffee and a bit of craic.
