The population of Northern Ireland is ageing, resulting in more older people living within our Borough. The Council have committed to follow the World Health Organisation's 'Age Friendly Framework'. Working with partners and other agencies, the Council wants to help improve the quality of life for our ageing population.
A key aspect of this work is engagement with our residents. Their views and opinions are used to form our 3-year Age Friendly Action Plan. Our commitment to the work of Age Friendly will foster healthy and active ageing throughout the Borough.
