Safe Shop

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council in partnership with the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and the Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP), has launched the Safe Shop initiative as part of the wider Embrace Your Town this Christmas campaign.

Running from the 15 November for four weeks, this initiative aims to support local businesses and shoppers by creating a safer and more welcoming environment across our town centres during the festive period.

During this time, Community Safety Wardens will be carrying out extra patrols in our town centres to help deter crime and anti-social behaviour.  Businesses can also book a one-to-one visit with a Warden to receive tailored advice as part of the Safe Shop Scheme on keeping their premises, staff and customers safe.
