The Food Programme was a FREE one day course which covered topics such as; healthy eating, food safety, food skills such as shopping well on a budget, food storage and food waste reduction.
Participants also had the opportunity to prepare easy meals in an air fryer which they could eat together or take home.

The Food Programme for Parents
The Health and Wellbeing team is currently delivering 7 Food Programme sessions to parents across Antrim and Newtownabbey. The Food Programme brings parents together to learn about nutrition, budgeting, reducing food waste and how to prepare healthy and delicious recipes using an air fryer.
