Theatre at The Mill – Back in Business

After a long 16 months the curtains will finally open at Theatre at The Mill on Friday 6 & Saturday 7 August as Musical Maestro Peter Corry and a special cast bring you a Summer Musical Spectacular, featuring the music from Oklahoma, The Producers, Les Miserables! and many more smash hit musicals.

We are really excited about welcoming people back to the theatre and you will notice that we have made some changes at Theatre at The Mill to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

On arrival at the theatre, you will be asked to undergo a quick and simple temperature check and to apply hand gel from one of our automatic dispensers in the theatre foyer.  Customers are asked to wear a facemask while moving around the theatre and wherever possible we are avoiding the timing of an interval to prevent congestion around our wash room facilities.  Customers will be able to leave the auditorium during the performance without the need to disturb other customers given the way the seating blocks have now been arranged.  The theatre has decided to maintain social distancing at 2 metres, which will reduce our usual seating capacity of 400 seats to 162 based on seating groups of two, three and four. We will be maintaining this distance for the duration of our autumn season of performances.

All tickets must be booked in advance of the performance.

A number of outdoor events at the Civic Square will take place throughout the summer starting on Friday 30 July with The Illegals and Niamh Kavanagh. Details of all shows can be found online at theatreatthemill.com
