Walking For All

Walking For All

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has welcomed the launch of the ‘Walking for All’ programme, a major cross-border initiative supported by Special EU Programmes Body through PEACEPLUS and led by Outscape.

The programme aims to encourage people across our rural communities in our Borough to get involved accessible, led walking activities designed to improve health, wellbeing and social connection.

Open to adults of all ages and abilities, Walking for All will deliver short, regular walks in local community spaces, helping to reduce isolation and inactivity while building stronger, healthier communities.

As a Walk Leader, you’ll help people in our rural communities across Antrim and Newtownabbey get healthier, get outdoors and feel more connected.

If you live in Toomebridge, Randalstown, Ballynure, Parkgate or any of our rural villages and want to help your neighbours get more active, we’d love to have you on board.

As a Walk Leader with Walking for All, you’ll bring people together for a weekly walk from the same place, at the same time, every week.
