Nestled on the shores of Lough Neagh, this state-of-the-art visitor centre features an exciting exhibition space, a restaurant and is also home to Lough Neagh Rescue. 

The Boathouse restaurant boasts an outdoor terrace offering unparalleled views across Lough Neagh.A 150 sq. m ground floor room overlooking the Loughshore hosts conferences and exhibitions whilst the public conveniences, showers, changing facilities and activity space support lough based activities.

Also featuring ‘The Protector of The Lough’, a silhouette which cuts clear against the horizon with Finn McCool instantly recognisable from far across the water celebrating the Lough, the land, the folklore and the heritage.

Food and Drink

The Gateway is home to The Boathouse Restuarant and Cafe.

With unrivalled panoramic views of Lough Neagh, the restaurant can seat a total of 70 guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

The menu showcases the very best of seafood from our local waters, meats and produce from Northern Irish farms and drinks from local breweries and beyond. The restaurant offers a range of traditional and street food options for all the family.

The Boathouse Antrim 

The Boathouse Cafe Antrim is now open just below The Boathouse Restaurant at Antrim Loughshore.

Serving up freshly brewed coffee, tasty snacks, sweet treats, sundaes, and even pup cups for your four-legged walking companions – this dog-friendly spot is perfect for a post-walk pick-me-up or a relaxed lakeside treat.
