Our apprenticeship scheme sees our apprentices follow a dedicated programme covering all aspects of truck and bus or plant maintenance and repair, with hands on learning on the latest vehicles and machines. Secure your future with an Apprenticeship Programme with Dennisons.

During training you will complete course modules under the expert guidance of our training team, covering technology in engines, transmission and the latest electronic diagnostic techniques. At the end of your course you will have completed your IMI level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair & Maintenance.

In return for your commitment to learning Dennisons take care of everything else including your course fees, travel expenses and, of course, your wages!

The Apprenticeship Programme aim is to nurture, develop and inspire the next generation of highly skilled talent for the hospitality industry.

Our apprenticeships are designed where you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, acquire knowledge and to practice “hands-on” in Professional Cookery. You will follow the standards as set out in the City & Guilds framework and will have an in-house assessor supporting you to make sure that you understand all the key aspects of your role. In addition, we will provide you with experiences, masterclasses, and workshops to enhance your learning and development in conjunction with Northern Regional College through the ApprenticeshipsNI programme.

The Jans Group is located in a 10,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Antrim operating three companies – ETRUX a company specialising in commercial vehicle conversion, rental and leasing, Jans Offsite Solutions, which manufactures holiday lodges, glamping pods and houseboats and Jans Lifestyle, a retailer of leisure equipment and campervan hire and purchase.

The ApprenticeshipsNI programme is now open to anyone aged 16+.  It offers the opportunity to access training and develop while you gain an industry recognised qualification. 

We currently offer the following qualifications:

Business Administration (Levels 2 & 3) – General Administration staff

Customer Service (Levels 2 & 3)  – Customer advisors, sales assistants, order processing departments and customer facing roles

Warehousing & Storage (Level 2)   – Despatch, delivery, production operatives and packers

Childrens Care, Learning & Development (Levels 2 & 3) – childcare assistants, room supervisors

Retail (Levels 2 & 3) – sales assistants, supervisors

Health & Social Care (Levels 2 & 3) – care assistants, home help

Gavin Magee began his journey at the Adair Arms Hotel in May 2016, initially serving as a Kitchen Assistant before transitioning to the front of the house as a Food & Beverage waiter. In 2017, Gavin successfully achieved his N.VQ Level 2 in Food and Beverage service, Bar Academy Certification, and Customer Service training.

Progressing steadily, Gavin advanced to N.V.Q Level 3 supervisor in 2018, subsequently taking on the role of a Food and Beverage Supervisor at the Adair Arms. In 2020, he undertook the Higher Level Apprenticeship in Hospitality Management, successfully completing the program in 2023.

Gavin's accomplishments continued to shine as he was recognised as the rising star at the N.I Hotel Federation in 2023. In the same year, he made a significant move to Corrs, assuming the position of Trainee Duty Manager. His career trajectory took another positive turn in February 2024 when he transferred to the Dunadry Hotel and Gardens as a Duty Manager.

Currently, Gavin is making waves as a finalist in the Northern Ireland Apprentice of the Year 2024 competition, showcasing his dedication and excellence in the hospitality industry.  We look forward to updating you with the results which will be announced in March this year.
