Council to Recognise Sporting Achievement of Neil Duff.

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council will recognise the recent sporting achievement of local man Neil Duff on winning the WDF World Darts Championship.

A Motion was proposed by Councillor Jim Montgomery and seconded by Councillor Robert Foster at the Council meeting on Monday 25 April 2022.

“This Council congratulates Neil Duff on winning the WDF World Darts Championship and will recognise the success of one of our local sports people.”

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Councillor Billy Webb said

“I want to congratulate Neil on his fantastic sporting achievement.  I am pleased that the Council is recognising Neil and look forward to celebrating this momentous win. ”

The Council plans to organise an event for Neil Duff later this year.
