The Council is delighted to sponsor the Service Excellence Award at this year’s Federation of Small Business Awards Northern Ireland Finals, which take place on Wednesday 5th April at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Belfast.

The awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of small business and the self-employed right across Northern Ireland. Awards are available in twelve categories, celebrating innovation, service excellence, exports, sustainability and many other areas.

We are thrilled that five local companies from across our Borough have been shortlisted as Northern Ireland finalists, including;

  • Hagan Homes (Community Award), Ballyclare
  • Get ‘Er Brewed (Family Business of the Year), Randalstown
  • HRD Services (Self-Employed/ Freelancer of the Year), Antrim
  • Kill It With Quizzes (Self Employed/ Freelancer of the Year and Start-Up of the Year), Ballyclare
  • InspecVision Ltd (Exporter of the Year), Newtownabbey

Winners in each category will secure a place at the prestigious UK Final and the chance to be crowned UK Small Business of the Year.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Alderman Stephen Ross said;

“I am delighted that the Council is supporting the Small Federation of Business Awards. I look forward to meeting all of the local finalists and I would like to wish them the very best of luck.”
