Super News for the Borough as venues announced for Girls SuperCupNI 2023

The venues have been announced for this year’s Girls SuperCupNI 2023 which will take place from 23-28 July, they include;

• Mossley Park, Mossley
• Cloyne Crescent, Monkstown
• The Diamond, Rathcoole
• Chimney Corner, Antrim
• Dixon Park, Ballyclare

The Council was delighted to host the first-ever Girls SuperCupNI tournament last year and is delighted to welcome the prestigious event back to the Borough.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Alderman Stephen Ross said;

“The Council is extremely proud to support the Girls SuperCupNI 2023, this prestigious event attracts visitors from across the world offering young people the chance to compete in a spectacular week of football.

“I am thrilled that this elite football tournament will once again be hosted at sporting facilities across our Borough. Building on the success from last year’s tournament this is not only a great boost for girl’s football but it is also a great asset for the local communities and I am looking forward to watching as many games as possible.”

The Council will host the launch for the SuperCupNI 2023 Girl’s tournament which will include the draw for the Girl’s competition on Thursday 27 April at Mossley Mill.
