Council Awarded Best Service Team for Sports and Leisure

The team behind the Council’s renowned leisure offering was recognised during the prestigious Annual Service Awards ceremony. The win, which was among 300 entries across every category from Councils across the UK, adds to their success achieved at the 2022 UKActive Awards.

The awards celebrate the contribution of council frontline services to local communities, highlight excellence in standards of delivery and recognise continuous improvement in public service provision.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Mark Cooper BEM congratulated the award winners.
