Antrim and Newtownabbey Policing & Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) are hosting a Road Safety event on Saturday 30 September 2023 at Neillsbrook Community Centre, Randalstown, from 3pm to 5pm.
Come and join us for a wide range of activities, including Emergency Services demonstration with PSNI and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service colleagues showing what happens at the scene of an accident. The PSNI will be on hand to provide important road safety and personal / home safety and security information and equipment.
In addition, we will have multi-skill sports coaches and Laser Tag from Mobile Team Adventure, with some entertainment provided by top local radio DJ David McCammond (Cool FM), to ensure a fun afternoon for all the family.
Chairperson of Antrim and Newtownabbey PCSP, Councillor Matthew Brady said: “Road safety is one of the top priorities in the PCSP action plan. Providing opportunities through events which serve to educate all road users - whether they be a driver, cyclist, walker, runner or equestrian - is vital to improve road safety and reduce the often life changing and devastating incidents we sadly hear about too often. “To appeal to a wide audience we have included fun engagement activities at this event, ensuring there is something for all the family and everyone is welcome.”
